The 2015 movie named The Fantastic is a super hero movie directed by Josh Trank centered on Marvel Fandom’s band of characters that were called the fantastic four. The return of the fantastic four movie was in 2015 and sadly it only made 168 million on a budget of over 100 million with initial advertising spending of around 80 million. The failure of The Fantastic Four allowed Marvel Studios to regain the rights to the characters. In 2019, Disney purchased 20th Century Fox which also had the rights to the Fantastic Four. A new movie is being developed and it is expected to come out in 2026. This movie will also introduce the characters into the mcu.
